Sareen sports Industries - New Cricket Bat cracked while knocking

I purchased a English willow cricket bat on **th June **** from one of the Cricket shop dealer, Olympic Sporting co, Bangalore.

To season the willow, i gave the bat for hand knocking at another shop called-*** cricket bat repair, Bangalore. I received the bat with a big crack on the side. When enquired with *** shop, they said bat wood is too soft and bat had experienced a crack because of defect in wood. They also mentioned if bat couldn't take the hand knocking blows how can the wood take a leather ball at ***KMPH speed..so they asked me to check for replacement with the dealer and manufacturer.

Then i visited Olympic sporting on **st June **** and asked for replacement. Dealer agreed to send the bat to SS plant for replacement quoting its a process followed. After * months of continuous chasing with dealer and directly with SS company, SS is not ready to replace the bat sighting its not a manufacturing issue. Original bat been sent back to dealer and yet to receive the exact reason quoted.
