Sub: Plea for Justice against a false VCR imposed on me by mistake of an employee of Ajmer Vidyut Vitharan Nigam Ltd.
Sir,
I would like to bring it your kind attention that I am Jancy Raju w/o Raju George presently residing at **, Ujjwal City, ward no: ** Nawalgarh, Jhunjhunu Rajasthan is a permanent domestic consumer of Ajmer Vidyut Vithran Nigam Ltd for the past ** years.
There is an electric pole almost touching to my compound wall through which an electric connection was given to my home by Ajmer Vidyut Vithran Nigam Ltd.
I and my husband we both are working in a private institution, so there is no one available at home during the day time. Almost a year back a street light was fixed on the electric pole and its switch was tied on the railing of my compound wall which is very close to the electric pole by the electricity department in the absence of me and my family.
We used to switch on and switch off the street light by evening and morning regularly. Near about six months back due to late payment of my electricity bill the electric connection of my home was disconnected along with street light. That time we were not at home. Later on the connection of my home was reconnected but the street light was not connected. On *th March ****. I received a notice from Ajmer Vidyut Vithran Nigam Ltd (Vigilance Department ) stating that an electricity theft was found by the department by mentioning the wire which is tied to the wall with a switch for the street light. It is a clear human error and a mistake of the person who observed the two wires hanging from the pole as a case of theft. Having received the notice I immediately reached the Ajmer Vidyut Vithran Nigam Ltd. Vigilance office in Nawalgarh and met Mr, Ravindra Singh and highlighted the matter before him. When the reality was brought in front of him he at once sent an assistant along with me and took some more photos from his mobile and I was asked to submit an application along with photos showing the reality. I submitted the application and photos to the vigilance department on **/**/**** and I was given assurance of waiving off the penalty by Mr. Ravindra Singh mean while the lockdown took place and there was no conversation between the department and me. I received my electric bill on **/**/**** in which the penalty amount is still showing. Once again I contacted Mr. Ravindra Singh and I was asked to submit a fresh application to the Executive Engineer. I did the same on *rd June. Sir we are outsiders and the electrical department is not taking any necessary steps. We stay only ** months in our home in a year the honourable court can verify my average annual electricity bill to conclude that no electricity theft is carried out by me since there are only * family members in my home. Due to an employee’s mistake I have been suffering for the last * months. Hence I request the court to look into the matter and do the justice for me. I also request the honourable court to stay the action of electricity disconnection by the AVVNL till I get justice from the court. I also request you to file a deformation case against AVVNL for Rs. ***,*** (Rupees Five Lakhs Only) for the negligence.
