Soukhya Robotic Ortho Care - negligence in medical treatment

I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint against Soukhya Robotic Ortho Care
regarding the treatment provided to my **-year-old parent, a senior citizen.
My parent had approached your facility for treatment of Right Hip Pain and underwent
laser treatment after paying a sum of Rs. **,***/- ID-NO ********* on **-Dec-****,
as prescribed by your ortho care clinic. Unfortunately, the treatment administered at
your centre was incorrect and negligent, which resulted in a severe deterioration of
my parent’s health condition.
Following the treatment, my parent developed complete swelling of the right leg
accompanied by severe pain and bleeding from the right leg (photographs
and documents attached for reference). Due to the alarming and critical condition
caused after your treatment, my parent had to be urgently admitted to Fortis Hospital
for emergency medical care.
This incident has resulted in:
• Severe physical suffering and serious risk to the life of an elderly patient
• Extreme mental agony and emotional trauma to the patient and family
• Significant and avoidable financial burden due to emergency hospitalization
and further treatment
Given the above facts, it is evident that the treatment provided at Soukhya Robotic
Ortho Care was unsafe, inappropriate, and failed to meet the required standard of
medical care, directly leading to further medical complications.

In view of this, I hereby demand an immediate and full refund of Rs. **,***/-, being
the total amount paid to Soukhya Robotic Ortho Care for the said treatment. This
demand is fully justified due to the deficiency of service and failure to provide safe
and proper medical treatment, particularly to a vulnerable senior citizen.
Please treat this matter as urgent. In the event the refund is not processed
immediately, I will be constrained to escalate this matter before the Consumer
Disputes Redressal Commission, the Karnataka Medical Council, relevant Health
Authorities, and pursue appropriate legal remedies, as advised, at your risk as to
costs and consequences.
