Flipkart Xiaomi Redmi - Need refund for the defective mobile purchased from flipkart

Purchased a mobile (Redmi *) on **.**.**** from Flipkart. The mobile is defective. Not able to listen properly both of myself and the person i am calling to.
Requested Flipkart to refund. But flipkart is rejecting the request. The technician also not listening to my problem. So What to do in this situation? My purachsing amount of Rs **** will be in waste, if the mobile is not being returned or refunded. Please help me.
