VISHWAROOP MANIYAR filed complaint against Airtel DTH on Jan 14, 2019
My airtel dth account customer ID no. ********** ,a consumer from last * years and I used to recharge annual Infinity pack . Recently it expired on *nd Jan,**** .I called at customer care to ask for annual recharge.They informed me that annual recharge is at present not available due to implementation process for new trai regulations going to be effective from *st Feb,** and advised me to recharge any monthly pack for a month and after *st Feb,**** I will be able to recharge for other options available at that time. Ultimately I recharge family pack of Rs.*** with a month validity.
Again on **th Jan,** my connection suspended with a reason of insufficient balance. I called at customer care to register my complaint ( complaint no.: ********). This time customer care representative informed me that your old plan, Infinity plan is still continuing and daily deduction of Rs ** daily is the reason for my services suspension.
It shows the airtel dth misleading their consumers and attempting to take the undue advantages during this period of changeover for new regulations . If their Family pack plan is valid for * month and consumer is opting the same after the expiry of old plan , how it can be suspended in that manner.
