Airtel and paytm - Money debited from paytm upi but not credited in airtel wallet

I attempted a recharge worth *** with the airtel app itself. I was directed to select the payment method and selected airtel money as they give an offer with it. Due to insufficient funds, it showed me multiple payment options to load up the airtel money wallet with a sum of *** rs. I selected paytm upi, entered all the credentials and the payment was complete. The money got deducted from my bank account and wasn't credited in the airtel money wallet.
