I am a Federal digital bank customer (FI money) with account number ************** and debit card number ****-****-****-****. On **st May, **** at *:** pm, I visited my nearest Punjab national bank ATM with ID no P******* that is located at North Haiborgaon, Opp Nagaon Girls College, Assam. While trying to withdraw cash by using my debit card, after putting my credentials and pin, an amount of Rs **** got instantly deducted from my account but the machine displayed some error and restarted and I did not receive my money and my card was trapped. However, it was later released by the machine along with a blank statement and it showed that the ATM is out of service. I have video footage of that period along with pictures which I took at that moment and I can provide it to you if required. As my cash was not disbursed, so I immediately reported this incident to FI money, who raised a dispute to look into this matter with complaint number ******* and asked me to wait for * working days. After waiting for this period, I get in touch with FI customer care at their number *********** on *th Jun, **** and I have been notified that my request for chargeback on Rs **** with ID no: ****-******_****_N has been rejected by Punjab National Bank as they have found in their investigation that the transaction has been successfully carried out. As, I was not satisfied with this outcome, I at once requested the support person to re-escalate my issue as I cannot accept this decision and want video footage of this incident. They refrain from helping me and insisted me to get in touch with Punjab National Bank nearest branch and their Customer Support and lodge a complain. Card used: ****-****-****-**** I visited my nearest Punjab National Bank located at Haiborgaon, Nagaon, Assam with a written complaint, and the branch manager, Lucky Saikia, straight away asked me to get in touch with my bank, where I maintain account and said that I am not eligible to claim any kind of footage and investigation from their bank directly due to security protocol. I even talked to PNB Customer Care team who denied from taking any kind of complain in this regard and asked me to get in touch with my bank only. Once again, I reached out to FI Customer Support and this time after several requests, they raised a chargeback complain on **/**/**** with ID no RQID-******* and asked me to wait for another **-** days. On **/**/****, I have been informed through call and mail that my second chargeback has also been rejected by Punjab National Bank. When asked for CCTV footage as proof, FI money told me that Punjab National Bank has not provided them any kind of footage and so they are unable to provide it to me. So, FI money is not entertaining any more complaints in this regards as my both chargeback claims are been rejected by PNB. They asked me to sue PNB as it is the main culprit in this case who is rejecting my genuine claims. My direct questions to PNB are why are you not providing me the CCTV footages when I am entitled to get them as this is a disputed transaction and RBI has already set up the required guidelines in their circular dated March **th, ****, NPCI/****-**/NFS/****? Based on what facts have you rejected my chargeback claims? If you can prove that I have received the money and fraudulently claiming it then I am welcoming any sort of legal punishment for this. If you are not helping me to get back my money then I am ready to move this case to civil courts for further judgement and directions. So, this is my last request to help me with my issue and take the necessary actions. Thank you.
