got a ivr call stating transaction alert from unknown device and prompted
me to press * if i dont recognize the device. i pressed * and cut the call
however i kept on getting those calls and i ignored those calls. after
sometime i got series of otp continously in my sms from multiple apps like
flipkart, medibuddy, etc. i ignored and deleted those messages. later after
one hour got a notification from mobikwik stating credit card bill was paid
with card number ending with **** hdfc card for amount *****. i was
suprised as i did not initiate any credit card bill payment and upon further
inspection found that credit card was unknown to me...I informed the mobikwik fraudulent app instantly that it was a unauthorised transaction and asked them to revert the request. But they ignored my mails and even after constant reminding..after ** days they have mailed me that it can't be refunded as it was used for some credit card payment.. and asked to followup with cyber crime ...
Now they are messaging me to repay the wallet amount . And threatening to put *** percent penalty..
Kindly give me justice..
