Cadbury Mondelez India Foods Private Limited - Missing Piece

On **th September ****, I bought a Cadbury Dairy Milk Minis ***g pack (Batch Code D*****C Pkd **/****) from MORE,Vellore,Tamil Nadu.

Unfortunately, the product was found to have been tampered with because the package consisted of ** pieces in place of ** pieces and the package could be opened without tearing on the designated line for opening the pouch. Further, a torn/used wrapper was present inside the package.
To sum up, the issues were
*. Missing chocolate piece .
*. Issue with packing as it could be opened without tearing the seal ,thereby raising doubt about hygiene; especially in the COVID period.
*.Presence of a torn wrapper

To resolve the problem, I had registered a complaint with Cadbury Mondelez India Foods Private Limited on their toll free number on **th September, **** and the complaint ID ******** was provided for further followup.

However, the sales officer who got in touch with us on September **,**** asked for the packet to be returned to him along with a letter stating that we have no complaints pending with them. The company official in fact asked us to give this outside our flat premise.
Since we were aggrieved by this callous behaviour from their side we raised the complaint again via, email, and their twitter handle.
Again, the redressal mechanism has not been satisfactory.
In fact, they mentioned that we had refused to give an appointment to the Sales Officer to visit us due to Covid protocols, which is not a truthful statement.

Therefore we are registering this complaint for deficiency in service and mental agony caused by the company for a speedy and just solution from your honourable office.
The copies of the communication ,the original package which is preserved as purchased can be produced for inspection.
