*. That the respondent has contacted to the complainant at his mobile number ********** and disclosed to him that he is a renowned company for arranging the Transportation of House Hold Goods also given assurance to the complainant that they will arrange the Goods Transportation in safely manner. When the complainant showed his interest for Transportation of his House Hold Goods from Ahmedabad to Bhaini, Kurukshetra. Upon which they told to the complainant to deposit a sum of Rs. **,***/- (***% of total value) for advance payment before loading the Goods in direct Vehicle from Ahmedabad to Kurukshetra. Upon which the complainant’s wife has transferred a sum of Rs. **,***/- in the account of the respondent company thru cheque (Cheque No- ******) on dated **/**/****.
*. That respondent has taken Insurance charges of Rs.**** on the total value of goods but not registered any claim even after asked by Complainant many times over phone but respondent refused to raise claim and assured that it our responsibility of settle all claims.
*. That on believing the words of the respondent, the complainant has given a total sum of Rs. **,***/- to the respondent but after taken complete payment, respondent refused to provide any damaged claim.
*. That respondent committed to deliver the house hold goods within *-* days through direct vehicle but they transport goods in part loads and unloaded at various locations results in damage of all my house hold goods.
*. That thereafter, when house hold goods received to Complainant on **/**/****, It was found that most of the material was in damaged condition, like Almirah, Sofa Set, LED TV (** Inch), Matteress-* No’s, Double Bed, Tata Sky Dish etc and missing many goods. which were shown to representative of respondent on the same day. Thereafter, Complainant written emails to respondent on the same day for the same but not get any satisfactory solution.

That the complainant many times requested the respondent either to settle claim through Insurance or to refund his amount of Rs. *,**,***/- (Almirah: Rs. **,***/-, Sofa Set: Rs. **,***/-, LED TV: Rs. **,***/-, Double Bed: Rs. **,***/-, Tata Sky Dish: Rs. *,***/-, Missing Items: Rs. **,***/-, Transportation refund due to Part load: Rs. **,***/-) for damage, but respondent refused to settle this claim. That due to the above said act and conduct of the respondent, the complainant has suffered great mental tension, agony and harassment from the hands of the respondent for which the complainant is entitled to get compensation from the respondent.
