Saurabh filed complaint against Zepto on May 29, 2026
Zepto advertised an offer stating that customers who placed an order worth ₹*** or more would receive a ₹**** coupon. I carefully reviewed the terms and conditions and placed an order worth ₹*** specifically to qualify for this offer. I fulfilled all the stated requirements and was initially credited with the promised ₹**** coupon.
The coupon clearly displayed an expiry date of ** June. However, to my surprise, the coupon disappeared from my account within approximately ** hours without any explanation, despite still being valid according to the stated expiry date. Had I known that the coupon would be removed prematurely, I may not have made the purchase in the first place.
Since then, I have made every reasonable effort to resolve the matter directly with Zepto. I have sent more than ** emails requesting clarification and restoration of the promised benefit. Despite my repeated follow-ups, I have not received any meaningful response, explanation, or resolution.
What is even more frustrating is that instead of addressing the issue, Zepto repeatedly sends the same template-generated emails claiming that their team attempted to contact me and that I was "unresponsive." This statement is completely inconsistent with my experience. I have not received any genuine call, meaningful communication, or serious attempt to resolve my complaint. As a customer, it is extremely disappointing to receive repetitive automated responses while my actual concerns are ignored.
I believe I was induced to spend money based on a promotional benefit that was subsequently removed before its stated expiry date. Furthermore, the lack of transparency and the repeated automated responses have only increased my frustration and loss of confidence in the company's customer support process.
I have preserved supporting evidence, including screenshots of the offer, the applicable terms and conditions, order details, and correspondence with customer support.
