Tulsi Travels Private Limited - Misleading Mahakumb travelers and selling Non Refundable Bus tickets

Dear Sir,

I am a Sr Citizen , I had purchased Non Refundable sleeper tickets through Make My Trip from Kolkata to Allahabad for travel on **th January **** for travel on **st February ** . as shown in MMT app by Bus operated by Tulsi Travels, Varanasi which claimed that it would take ** hours to cover journey of *** km or so @ ** km per hour.

In the app, The pick up was shown Dunlop bridge bus stand Kolkata and Drop point was shown Pryagraj . No other details were mentioned.

After purchase of ticket , I found the following mentioned in Ticket. Ticket was from Kolkata to Allahabad and that Drop point will be Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh Address : Pryagraj Mela Parking and Bus will be changed from sleeper to Seater from Varanasi.

I tried to find the distance of Pryagraj from Mela ground in Google maps but could not . I came to know that there are several parking places from Pryagraj for Buses coming from Varanasi from distance of ** km to ** km and they had designated names and proper addresses .

I called the Travel agency and they told me that Bus will not go to Allahabad or Prayagraj but will drop us much earlier ** to ** km earlier. He could not tell me the address properly .

When I mentioned why this was not mentioned before purchasing tickets and also that sleeper Bus will be converted to seater from Varanasi . He could not give any answer except telling me that it was because of the person who updated in Software did it wrongly. It is not travel agency fault .

He also could not give me any assurance how I will travel from parking place to Pryagraj zero point and pointed out that it could be by walk or smaller vehicle at my cost.

After, I had protested they started mentioning from ** th February Pryagraj Parking and when I gave written complaint changed the drop point to Pryagraj Mela Parking in the app and also started mentioning that Bus will be changed to seater bus from Varanasi.

I have got screen shots of all the above changes made. Obviously he had a bad intention to cheat people at large .

When I purchased my NON REFUNDABLE ticket on that day only Tulsi Travels bus was available and in operation and no other Bus. But later I found that there were atleast * or * more buses introduced and are in operation now. All the other buses are selling FULLY REFUNDABLE TICKETS upto Date of travel , They were clearly mentioning the address of drop points and from Google map one can find the distance from drop point Palla Dhaba , Handia, Prayagraj NH ** clearly and astonishing ly it is ** km from Pryagraj Zero point or Mela . So by mentioning Prayagraj, then after protest Changing to Prayagraj Parking and then after written protest Changing it to Pryagraj Mela Parking, Tulsi Travels is just misguiding Kolkata public again and again. This cannot be allowed by RTO . Other transport agencies are mentioning full address why not Tulsi.


I request RTO and Govt of West Bengal to revoke permission given to Tulsi Travels to operate from Kolkata and sell ***% NON REFUNDABLE TICKETS by misleading public , since they have furnished false information again and again .and again. Even now information given in website and ticket is incorrect since address of drop point is not being mentioned . Even Google maps cannot say where Mela Parking is. I am loosing money due to these White collar Cyber Criminals which cannot be allowed in the name of Kumbha Mela. RTO and Government and Police cannot put Kolkata Sr Citizens into problem like this . Already Kolkata public is suffering due to Cyber Criminals. RTO , Government of West Bengal and Police should not encourage them further. I know it is difficult.
