hp memory card - Memory card supplied is not working

I bought a **GB Micro Memory card for my Android from Flipkart online. After receiving the same when I tried to see how it is working by using in my Android. Nothing happened. I then tried the same on my Sony Handycam and HCL *i Laptop with same result. I immediately wrote to Flipkart without any result.
