AARVI TEXTILE - Meesho Seller Account deactivated without any reason

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious matter regarding the unjust deactivation of my Meesho seller account (ID: *******). I started my entrepreneurial journey with Meesho, motivated by your inspiring success story. However, on the *th of March, my account was suddenly deactivated without prior notice, warning, or explanation.
Despite several attempts to seek clarification and evidence from your team, I have not received any response or support. This lack of transparency and fairness has caused significant distress to me and has left my business in a very vulnerable position.
I would like to highlight the following key issues and request your urgent intervention:
Fraudulent Activity Leading to Account Deactivation
First Example:
Order Number: ******************_*
A bedsheet order placed by my friend’s wife in Gumla, Jharkhand, was packed and dispatched via Shadofax on **th February. The order was delivered successfully around ** AM.
Later that day, at *:** PM, she received a call from the number **********, with the caller pretending to be from Shadofax, requesting the OTP for delivery confirmation.
The scammer then used this OTP to hack into her Meesho account, changed her login credentials, updated the payment method, and added his own UPI ID.
A false return request was created for this order, although the item was never returned.
Despite raising this issue with Meesho support, no corrective action was taken, and the return still shows as "in return transit" on my Meesho panel.
Second Example:
Another customer from Karnataka placed an order which was dispatched via Shadofax. After delivery, a fake return was created.
The return AWB numbers are R*************FPL (first case) and R*************FPL (second case).
I discovered that the registered mobile numbers for both return requests are not mine and were changed, indicating fraudulent activity. Despite informing Meesho support, no action was taken to address these issues.
Meesho's Response and Lack of Transparency
On the *th of March, I received an responce from Meesho stating that my account was permanently suspended due to "suspicious activities." However, I would like to raise the following concerns regarding your response:
Suspicious Activities Notified After Suspension: If suspicious activities were indeed detected, it is your obligation, both legally and professionally, to inform the supplier immediately. I have not received any prior warnings, notifications, or any form of communication from Meesho regarding any suspicious activities related to my account. This raises serious concerns about the transparency and fairness of your actions. It is not acceptable to suspend an account without providing prior notice or an opportunity to clarify any misunderstandings.
Violation of Natural Justice: According to natural justice, if an organization like Meesho alleges that suspicious activities have taken place, you must provide the details and evidence behind these allegations. However, I have not received any explanation or proof to substantiate these claims. I updated my trademark on March *th and was preparing for significant new product listings on March *th. Yet, my account was suddenly suspended on March *th without any warning. The lack of communication regarding this matter is both unjust and unprofessional.
Request for Detailed Explanation and Reconsideration.
No Warning or Evidence: I understand that as the platform owner, Meesho reserves the right to take actions it deems necessary. However, please remember that this country, society, and every business operate under the rule of law, and I believe I deserve a fair explanation. Suspicious activities cannot be treated as one-way communication. If you detected suspicious activities, you were obligated to inform me, the supplier, before taking such a drastic step as suspending my account.
Reconsideration of Account Suspension: I firmly assert that I have not committed any wrongdoing. I have been transparent in my dealings and have always followed the platform’s guidelines. I request that you reconsider the permanent suspension of my seller account and provide clear evidence of the alleged suspicious activities. Furthermore, if there was a mistake or misunderstanding, I would appreciate the opportunity to correct it.
Impact and Urgent Request.
The deactivation of my seller account has caused severe financial and operational consequences. I had already placed significant inventory orders, and Meesho’s team was even in communication with me regarding more inventory. The suspension has abruptly halted my ability to do business.
I respectfully request that you review my case thoroughly and provide a detailed explanation for the suspension. If any suspicious activities were detected, I demand that you share the evidence and specifics of these activities. I seek immediate clarification, reinstatement of my account, and assurance that no further unjust actions will be taken against my business.
Additional Complaints
The handling of these issues by Meesho has been inadequate, and the failure to protect sellers has led to financial and reputational damage.
I am requesting that this complaint be escalated to the Meesho CEO for a more thorough investigation and response.
