I purchased several items from Meesho and returned a few of them—well, *attempted* to return them. From the very beginning, the return process has been nothing short of a nightmare. First, the system wouldn’t even generate an AWB number. After multiple calls, follow-ups, and escalations (because obviously nothing works the first time), a pickup was *finally* scheduled.
That was over two weeks ago.
Till date, not a single item has been picked up. Meesho doesn’t believe in giving an actual pickup date—why would they? Instead, they give you a vague “ETA,” meaning *some day before this random date, maybe*. Every morning I don’t even bother waiting for a confirmation message because, like clockwork, the pickup gets cancelled around *–* a.m. and magically rescheduled again. And again. And again.
Customer support’s favorite line is “Be rest assured, it will be done tomorrow.” Apparently, Meesho’s “tomorrow” exists in an alternate universe, because it never arrives. At this point, it genuinely feels intentional—delay the pickup so much that customers get tired, frustrated, and cancel the return altogether. Easy profits, right?
I’ve written to multiple email IDs—no response. Raised complaints with customer support—no response. Absolute silence. This is not what an e-commerce company looks like. Meesho is merely a platform that puts customers’ money at risk while loudly advertising “hassle-free returns.” In reality, all they offer is deep frustration, wasted time, and zero accountability.
Companies that operate like this somehow have the audacity to run IPOs. Honestly, it’s hard to understand how businesses that treat customers this poorly are allowed to continue operating at all.
