LinkUpCareers - LinkUpCareers Fake job offer by LinkUpCareers Consultancy

My name is V. Karteek, and I am a resident of Hyderabad. I am writing to file a formal complaint against a recruitment agency named LinkUpCareers, based in Lingampally, Hyderabad, for fraudulent recruitment practices and financial misconduct.

Background:
I was contacted by LinkUpCareers with promises of multiple job opportunities across various locations. Initially, I was asked to pay a service fee of INR *,*** on *th March ****, followed by a larger payment of INR **,*** on *rd April ****. I received a receipt for this transaction.

Subsequently, they arranged a first-round interview with a person introduced as Mr. Nikhil Kshirsagar, claimed to be a Senior HR Manager at Capgemini. The interview was conducted on *rd April ****, and I later received and cleared a profile assessment test.

On *th April ****, I received an email from both LinkUpCareers and Capgemini, informing me of a vacancy for the position of Senior Project Manager at Capgemini, Abu Dhabi. A job description PDF was shared, and I confirmed my interest.

Additional Payments:
On *th April ****, I was informed via a forwarded email from Capgemini (no-reply@capgemini.com) sent through info@linkupcareers.com, that the recruitment was under the OTTP (One Thousand Talent Policy Program). I was asked to pay for several approval forms:

W-* State Form – €***

OTTP Federal Form – €***

I-* Form – €**

I made a total payment of INR **,*** (receipt available), and further completed additional forms sent afterward.

Subsequently, I was charged INR **,*** for a Professional Portfolio Website, followed by another payment of INR **,*** for a Professional Portfolio, as part of the background verification process. A confirmation letter was provided.

Background verification was carried out via IDFY and Divine Technology, for which supporting documents are available. I was later asked to fill out and submit a compensation variable selection form.

Following this, I received a Business Level Agreement from Capgemini and was charged a percentage of the offered CTC. Receipts are available. A Service Level Agreement fee was also demanded, which I had already paid, but they insisted further.

Eventually, I was informed that a physical visit would be scheduled at Capgemini, Hyderabad, and that all payments made would be refunded via Demand Draft (DD) upon completion of the induction.

After a few months, I was told that the Capgemini offer had been canceled and was offered an alternative role at Oracle. A similar payment process was followed for the Oracle opportunity, mirroring the earlier Capgemini experience.

The refund will be processed in two parts:

Part *: INR **,**,*** – Scheduled for April *th, ****

Part *: INR *,**,*** – Scheduled for April **th, ****

Total Refund: INR **,**,***, covering all paid amounts, including taxes and associated charges.

Concern:
After months of continuous involvement and significant financial investment, I have strong reasons to believe that the entire process has been a scam, involving fake job offers and misleading communications. I am now requesting a comprehensive investigation into this matter and demand a full refund of the amount paid, along with appropriate compensation for the time, effort, and emotional stress endured.
