Max Life Insurance Company - Legal Notice Consumer Court Case Filed for MisSelling and Mental Harassment

ARYAN SINGH KUSHWAH filed complaint against Max Life Insurance Company on Oct 25, 2025

This is in reference to my earlier complaint regarding the mis-selling of my policy by Axis Max Life Insurance officials. Unfortunately, I have not received any proper response or resolution on my last email.

Policy Details
Policy Number – *********
E-Quote Number – ****ASRX
Policy Name – Axis Max Life Flexi Advantage Plan
Premium – Rs ****
Mr. Pankaj khanna email id :-

pankaj.khanna@axismaxlife.com
I have now received an email from Mr Pankaj Khanna from Axis Max Life Insurance. In his communication, he has clearly mentioned that it was a mistake from the Axis Max Life Insurance team end and that the concerned officials did not explain the policy charges properly. He also asked me what should be done with the policy now.

I have already informed that I wish to continue the policy but under the same terms and conditions that were explained to me during the sales call.

At this point, I would like to highlight serious contradictions in the statements of Axis Max Life officials.

Ms Aashika (Team Leader) had earlier told me that all charges were clearly explained to me.

Now Mr Pankaj Khanna has accepted in writing that the mistake was from the team’s side and they did not explain the charges correctly.

This directly proves that Ms Aashika misguided me and falsely defended her team’s actions on record. This also raises a serious question on her leadership and capability to guide her team in a fair and transparent manner.

I request strict disciplinary action against the following employees involved in this mis-selling and misleading communication:

Ms Rani – Senior Executive (who sold the policy with false commitments)

Ms Charu – SME (who misinformed and refused to share the call recording)

Ms Aashika – Team Leader (who argued, denied mistakes, and misled me during escalation)

During the sales call, I was not advised to read any policy documents. The focus of the representative was only on completing the sale. If customers are expected to read and understand all terms on their own, then there is no need for financial advisors. The advisor’s duty is to explain all important aspects transparently before the sale.

I also request clarification from Mr Pankaj Khanna regarding how this issue is being handled internally and what measures will be taken against such unethical practices. It is deeply concerning that the sales and service teams are contradicting each other and misleading customers for policy sales.

Please provide a written resolution and confirmation of actions taken against the concerned officials. Otherwise, I will be constrained to escalate the matter further to the Insurance Ombudsman and seek compensation for the mental harassment and inconvenience caused by this mis-selling and repeated misguidance.

Kindly acknowledge this email and update me with the corrective action taken at the earliest.

Yours faithfully,
ARYAN SINGH KUSHWAH
