Urban Company Ahmedabad - Laptop Repair Negligence Request for Compensation

I am deeply disappointed with the way my recent laptop repair service was handled through Urban Company in Ahmedabad. I trusted your platform for professional service, but due to repeated negligence and mishandling by your technicians, I not only lost valuable academic data but also went through **–** days of extreme stress, which directly affected my medical studies.

*. What Happened

My Lenovo Ideapad Gaming * (AMD Ryzen * ****H) initially had an issue where it was not starting (only lights were blinking).

I booked a repair via Urban Company, and the first technician took the laptop for *–* days. He claimed to have repaired it, but it soon stopped working again.

He came again and returned the laptop in * days, but this time it was unbearably slow and laggy despite having powerful specifications.

*. How Negligence Affected Me

When I complained again, the same technician advised me to reset my laptop, assuring me this would fix the issue.

Following his instructions, I did the reset, but it took an unbelievable * hours to complete.

More importantly, I lost all my academic data — my medical notes, study material, and personal files. This was a devastating loss for me as a student.

Even after this, the laptop continued to perform poorly, which shows that the issue was never properly diagnosed.

*. Second Technician’s Role

A second technician was then assigned and took my laptop for further checking. He kept it for over a week, but finally said he could not identify the problem.

Either a free motherboard replacement at Urban Company’s cost, OR reimbursement of ₹**,*** so I can get the repair done at an authorized Lenovo service center.

The loss of my important academic data.

The stress, wasted time, and disruption to my studies caused by this mishandling
