indus valley - kadhai lid screw threading was damaged after 7 days of use

I had ordered * kadhais with lids and of which small size was the one that i started using and within * days of usage the threading on the lid was damaged.
I called customer support and the indus valley customer care repeatedly kept telling me that they have only * days return policy. I use similar type of lids from nirlon , wonderchef from last * years and have never faced such bad quality issue
