Careermarts Consultancy - Job Recruitment Scam

I would like to register a complaint against Careermarts consultancy (Vinay Sharma) for suspected recruitment fraud. I was contacted by this agency in March ****, saying that they had openings in ITC Ltd. (Mumbai) for senior level openings in Finance and as I was looking for a job at that time, I readily agreed to pay their registration fees, profile and ID verification fees of Rs *****. Thereafter they organized one telephonic interview and three Skype interviews for me and I paid nearly Rs * lacs towards "refundable" interview fees. In addition to this before the final interview round I was asked to pay Rs ** lacs for ensuring the final shortlisting and recruitment. I also paid this, but in the final interview I was informed that I had been selected for recruitment in June ****. My contact person was Vinay Sharma, who assured me that they would ensure that the recruitment would be done by Jan **. In fact he even called me once to tally the payments which i had made with his records. However in March ** after following up with them, I was informed that all recruitments were on hold due to the pandemic, so I was asked to be patient and hold on. They even refunded me Rs * lac from the refundable interview fees as I was in financial difficulty at that time (around Jan ****). Thereafter there was very little communication

Finally in Jan **, I received another mail from them saying that the company would be reverting soon on my recruitment status. After receiving this mail I was hopeful that this would finally get resolved. However after that I followed up several times with Mr. Sharma over mail but received no reply. I have also tried calling him on his number ***** *****, however this number is not operational. Initially I was quite impressed with their professional behavior and prompt communication and I had set aside all my doubts. However from their recent lack of response I am beginning to get convinced that I have been scammed. This entire incident has caused me immense financial difficulty and mental stress and I need help in resolving this issue.
