Apple iPhone XS - iPhone XS damaged

I am very disappointed and I am really fed up. Before reading my email I just request you please understand my situation and solve it otherwise I never believe in justice. Before * months I bought I phone xs just because I trust on Apple company and already I have used * I phones. On last Monday it was mistakenly slipped in a water bucket and within * seconds I expel it out from the bucket and after * minutes it was dead. Then I went on the apple store Gurgaon and they refused to help us as it was water damaged. They said they are not responsible for the water damaged why? If they are not responsible for the water damaged then why they describe on Internet as it is waterproof and we can keep under *.* ft for at least ** minutes why they are lying and making fool to customers. Why?
My phone is still under warranty and I request you please try to understand my situation and solve it as I will not pay again **,*** to repair it and also I have attached the screenshot of the description for your reference kindly help and do needful.
