Monserrate Interio Design - Interior Designer Cheating

*. Ms. Salome Monserrate – Proprietor of “Monserrate Interio Design”
*. Mr. Sheldon Monserrate
*. Mr. Mithailal Vishwakarma – Carpenter
*. Mr. Rajkumar Vishwakarma – Carpenter
*. Mr. Ankit – Plywood Dealer, Kandivali (West)
*. We, the Complainant, engaged the above Opponents for the interior design and furniture work of my flat at Rosa Manhattan, Flat No. **** & ****, Brooklyn Tower, Hiranandani Estate, Thane.

*. On **/**/****, after meeting with Ms. Salome Monserrate and Mr. Sheldon Monserrate, they provided a quotation of ₹**,**,***/- plus ₹*,**,***/- for electrical and false ceiling work. The quotation was approved, and the Opponents demanded **% advance before each stage of work.

*. We handed over the keys of my flat. Opponents assured quality work but brought poor quality material without my knowledge or approval. Invoices were never shared. Opponents falsely assured me that the material was standard marine ply, but later it was discovered to be duplicate and low-quality plywood, MDF,Laminate and fittings.

*. Opponents failed to share furniture designs as agreed and started making furniture without approval. By August ****, I had paid a total of ₹**,**,***/-, but more than **% of the work remained incomplete.
*. In September ****, We observed swelling and bubbling in furniture due to substandard plywood. When confronted, Ms. Salome Monserrate gave false excuses of “moisture and building alignment.” Even her carpenters and vendor admitted the material was of inferior quality. She also used cheaper hardware without my consent.

*. it was really shocking to find that the quality of wood that had been used in my flat was of highly inferior quality, hardware used are low quality and on the whole the quality of work is found to be highly substandard.

*. After getting the assessment done by other interior designers and carpenters in my place, they found discrepancies and designing flaws along with cheapest quality plywood..

*. Apart from this, I am more worried about the poor quality of wood that has been used in my entire flat. Interior designer is refusing to give any bills for any of the items that were purchased in my flat.

*. Opponents (Salome Monserrate ) delayed the work, painted over defective wardrobes to hide mistakes, and attempted to abandon the project midway. She failed to provide vendor bills, expenditure details, or promised *D designs.

**. Because of this cheating and negligence, my flat was not ready for possession by September end. We were forced to continue staying in my old apartment which is to be sold to pay the Emi of new apartment.

**. The Opponents have cheated me with dishonest intention, harassed me mentally, and caused huge financial loss.


This I kindly request that

*. Compensation of ₹*,**,***/- for delay and financial loss.
