INTERIORSMART - Interior Design Service No Approved Designs Refund Withheld

I engaged the opposite party for interior design services for my residential property and paid an advance amount of ₹ ***** in good faith. Despite multiple discussions and site visits, no design scope was ever finalized or approved by me at any stage.

From the beginning, I repeatedly requested initial design concepts, *D views, or basic visual representations to understand the proposed design direction. These requests were ignored or deferred, while pricing discussions and payment demands were pushed aggressively without any approved or even indicative design.Despite the absence of approved designs, I was further pressured to make the next stage of payment.

Additionally, the measurements, layouts, and quantities reflected in the quotations did not align with my stated requirements, despite multiple site visits. These discrepancies were highlighted several times but were not satisfactorily corrected.Due to continued delays, lack of approved designs, incorrect quotations, and absence of clear timelines, the project could not proceed and was discontinued for valid reasons attributable entirely to the service provider. As a result, my planned move-in schedule was disrupted, causing mental stress and inconvenience.

Despite rendering no approved designs or satisfactory deliverables, the opposite party is refusing to refund the advance amount.I am seeking:

Compensation for mental agony and inconvenience
