Upgrad Education Private Limited - Insufficient Incorrect Misinformation provided for MSc data Science Degree by Upgrad

I wanted to highlight the trouble i faced by enrolling for a Masters Program in Upgrad, The fee for the course is ****** and I opted for a Master in Data Science degree through LJMU University. I Was not told or given any details all i was told by the counsellor was if you opt for this program you would also get a IIIT bangalore Post graduate Diploma in Data Science as well, I opted since i got a free Diploma with it. The Diploma is *,**,***.After joining the course I was surprised not to get any communication Regarding Masters all the communication i got was as Post graduare Diploma alone. I didnt get any Acknowledgement for Masters degree though I paid the full amount for the Masters Course. I got the offer letter for PGDDS from IIIT B AND NOT FOR Masters in LJMU . WHile i enquired also they said its normal you have already enrolled youl get an update but i havent got any.. Now here is where the problem arises considering we are working professionals these people said its a course for non programmers and we will train on python programming since its a one year diploma i thought there will be ample time and i thought i can get this in the learning curve as i have * year time to my surprise they kept an exam within * months on Dec **th and i didnt qualify in the exam due to my work deliverables , now comes the actual issue why i want refund now because i didnt clear this they said they will give one more chance and i have to write an exam within a week or i can reenroll by paying another ***** else i will get a participation certificate only .. Now I told them anyways i wanted to do Masteres only this Diploma is a compliment given so im ok with a participation certificate and told them i will concentrate and Focus on my Masters Degree alone as I already have **+*+* Education and all Global universities agree to these norms for this they something which was a shocking revelation. They said that the degree i opted is a interelated degree without completimg PGDDS i wont be able to enroll for LJMU at all , I've been very patient and cooperative thoroughout , Just think logically when you are aware that atleast **-**% of students might not clear ,why Upgrad still want their money for enrolling to Masters degree upfront. What is the need to get this Money of * Lakhs upfront .This really doesn't seem logical Knowing that every University abroad across the world accepts **+*+* b education to enroll for masters why it is different here and why I should still pay around *.* lakhs extra for a degree for which I won't be enrolled at all. Will anyone pay * lakhs for getting two participation certificates. For this they said they will escalate to the academic committee and after repeated mails for * months , the academic counsellor from escalations send me a mail backdated as proof that this is already communicated and i didnt check it , Now is where they send me the offer letter for Masters Degree , they did not send this before . Now how insane it will be to backdate a document and show it as a proof . I have been asking for an escalation contact from a autority who can decide on things but my plea is ignored and i dont get a satisfactory response . THey only say zero refund policy where the fault is entirely on Upgrad team , My hard earned money has gobe for a toss and is caught in the hands of money minded people like this who take things for granted please do the needful to get my money back .Please ask the committee members to call me if they are not convinced. it is upgrads understanding as well which is important and this is getting way too long for a resolution..
