This is to bring to your kind notice that we have booked for an import Shipment by paying Rs. ****.** to S EXPRESS (INDIA) PVT LTD on ** Mar ** ( Transaction Ref No. ATOMN****** ) for a shipment having value of *** USD vide FLIR Integrated Imaging Solutions, Inc .Invoice No. ********** dt ** March ** and your Airway Bill Number **********. The shipment was picked up by DHL from Canada on ** March and was expected to deliver to us by ** March **.
In spite of repeated reminders, DHL have not delivered the item to us till date. We could find from the tracking history that the item was cleared by customs in Bangalore, India vide Bill of Entry No.CBEXIII_BLR_****-****_****_***** issued on ** Mar ** with an assessable value of Rs. *****.**. We did not receive the shipment or any communication from DHL after the expected date of delivery for the shipment.
We have reported the matter to DHL and was the following up with their customer care. Even after all our pleadings, DHL have not made the delivery of goods which is indeed a total failure of their service commitments and highly unbusiness like. Lastly they informed us that item is not traceable and asked us to agree for a full and final settlement of Rs, ****.** and freight charge as goodwill which is another example of cheating customers and not taking responsibility for their mistakes and failure. We did not accept the settlement as per their offer as we had huge financial loss to us due to this in terms product cost, customs duty, freight charges and loss due to delay of our project for want of the shipment. We would like to have the full amount of the custom assessed value (Rs. *****.**), Customs Duty Rs. *****.**, Freight Charges: Rs. ****/- and a compensation of Rs. ******/- for the financial loss to us as our project got delayed for want of this shipment.
You are kindly requested to take up the matter with DHL and do kindly needful for compensating our loss. Startup companies like us pay huge amount to DHL for the shipment expecting they will provide good service, but their attitude towards customer and responsibilities are not trustworthy. Therefore you are kindly requested to do needful for compensating our loss by DHL in full as requested above.
