Ilife India Ltd - iLife Denying Warranty Repair for Pro Cleaning Robot Defective Unit and Unfair Charges

I purchased an iLife Cleaning Robot (Model: A** Pro) from Flipkart, delivered on **nd July ****. Within one month, the robot started showing operational issues, and by September ****, it completely stopped working.

I raised a service request with iLife Support (Ticket No: *****) on **th August ****. The company took over two weeks to arrange pickup (on **th September ****). Later, I received an email stating that the robot’s motherboard was damaged due to water entering inside and I must pay ₹**** + GST for repair, even though the product is under warranty.

This explanation is unreasonable. The iLife A** Pro is a Wet and Dry Cleaning Robot, meant to operate on watery or damp surfaces. If water can enter the mainboard during normal use, it is a design or manufacturing defect, not user negligence. The product was used only as per the manual and never exposed to external water.

iLife’s refusal to repair or replace the product under warranty is unethical and violates consumer rights. The delay and denial have caused me inconvenience, mental stress, and financial loss.

Company’s Response:
“Machine ran on watery floor in vacuum mode, due to which water went inside and damaged the board. It will not be covered under warranty. Pickup/drop charges are applicable (**% waived).”

My Request:

Provide free repair or replacement of the defective iLife A** Pro robot under warranty.

Waive all charges demanded for motherboard replacement and pickup/drop.

Ensure fair service and accountability for warranty denial.
