Reliance Smart - i was asked to pay twice for the same bill

i went to reliance smart store at Vijayanagar garage stop Bangalore Karnataka . the bill was ***.** i paid the bill via paytm qr code via google pay and the payment was successful the cashier told that the transaction has already timeout and bill is not paid . but the i did show the transaction success status. the cashier insisted on repay and told that in **hrs the amount will be credited back to my account . It has been * days since and i haven't received and credit back
