Xiaomi Mobiles - I REGRET MY DECISION OF BUYING Xiaomi POCO FI FROM FLIPKART

I am thoroughly dissatisfied with Mi Phone and its Service Centre at Kolkata.

I bought one POCO FI Xiaomi from the online site, Flipkart, on **/**/**** at a price of Rs *****/-.

I had been using mobile phones since **** and I am very careful in handling the mobile sets. For example, I was using a NOKIA *** (IMEI ***************) since December **** prior to my buying the Pocohone. The NOKIA phone is still with me and looks as good as new.

On **/**/**** after coming back from office, I found my POCOPHONE was dead and nothing was happening to it.

Next day , I took my phone to one authorised service centre of MI at Kolkata (XMIN****). The technician after some time called me and said that the phone’s motherboard has been ‘ FULL LIQUID DAMAGED’ due to exposing the set to water therefore repairing charges have to be paid by me although the phone is within warranty. I ,vehemently, objected to his remark saying that my phone was not mishandled ,never exposed to water and it was looking as good as new. The service centre was adamant, they gave us a print out of Service Record asking for a payment of Rs *****/- less **% discount to repair my phone which was within warranty. I refused to pay the amount about Rs ****/- and came back.

I AM SURE THE PHONE WAS DAMAGED BEFOREHAND I.E A DEFECTIVE AND DAMAGED PHONE WAS SOLD TO ME AS A NEW SET.I LOST FAITH ON CHINESE PHONE AND DECIDED NOT BUY ONE IN FUTURE.I HAVE BEEN THROUGHLY CHEATED AND LOST MY HARD EARNED MONEY.
