I am writing to complain that I successfully got my dream job as a Trainee Ordinary Seaman on a cargo vessel, and now I have a serious problem.
Nobody told me that a cargo ship is surrounded by water on all sides. Every single day. Non-stop.
I expected adventure, city views, shopping malls, and weekend hangouts. Instead, I got an unlimited subscription to the Ocean Channel.
The scenery never changes — just water in HD quality.
My office has no traffic, no neighbors, and no food delivery apps.
Even Google Maps seems confused about my location.
The captain says this is completely normal, which I find highly suspicious.
Therefore, I strongly advise everyone: if seeing endless water makes you bored, do not join a cargo vessel.
Otherwise, welcome aboard and enjoy the world's largest swimming pool that you are not allowed to swim in!
