Movemate Logistics Private Limited - Household goods not delivered

*. That complainant decided to move his household’s goods from Mumbai to Gurugram through the opposite party.

*. That the estimate given by the opposite party to move the complainant’s household goods from Mumbai to Gurugram was INR *****.


*. That the loading from complainant’s house in Mumbai was done on ** Feb **** and taken to Godown in which was neither informed prior to the complainant nor in the agreement document.

*. That the opposite party manager called to the complainant to inform that the load was more than surveyed by their own surveyor and the cost will now be INR *****.

*. That after a delay of * days the opposite party started blackmailing the complainant to pay the complete amount or else they will not dispatch the household goods.

*. That the goods reached the destination after ** days which was contrary to the agreement and promise made by the opposite party.

*. On arrival at the destination, the complainant got to know that the truck was only half full and also that his ** expensive flower pots with exquisite flowers such as Orchids, Lilies, Daffodils, etc. were missing.

*. That complainant enquired from the opposite party’s labor and they informed the complainant that opposite party forgot to load rest household items and they will be sent at a later date.

*. The complainant got in touch with the opposite party a nos. of times and requested to send the flower pots but to no avail. The opposite party is not returning the complainant’s rest household items.

**. Ample of times the consumer has reported the issues to Opposite Party customer care through mail and calls but nobody is providing any permanent solution for the same.

**. That there is a deficiency of services and unfair trade practices of Opposite Party.
