Park Lane Residence Doha Qatar - Hotel booking not refunding or modifying

I have booked a flat in Park Lane Resident, Doha in March **** before the Covid pandemic has started. At that time I didn't know that I would not be able to come due to covid restriction imposed by the Qatar Government. I have been continuously following up this issue since one year. We have also tried contacting the contact person at Park Lane,Doha(Ms.Krystal). My wife has returned to Doha after a year and went to Park Lane office and they clearly told that the booking was non refundable, since you didn't came, it will not modified to later date too. Please be noted that, we can understand that it was mentioned in receipt that the amount is non refundable but it was booked prior covid and we have no control over my travel to Doha till now as the VISA process in Qatar is still  not started.
