Hi Homeaway
I had a reservation from Jun ** – Aug **, **** for the Relaxing Holiday in Balinese Style Unit in Singapore.
Due to personal reason i had to cancel my reservation * week before. Since it was booked under strict cancellation my entire amount of SGD *.*K was non refundable
I asked Dianne that if she can find someone so that i can recover some money. She mentioned that she will try. After getting no reply from her today when i emailed her to enquire if the property is empty then i got the reply that its still empty.
I asked her if i can checkin from **th July and continue my stay so that i can recover the rent which i paid and haven't utilized. She is saying now that she is out of town till **th August and i cannot occupy till that time. It was so unprofessional that even after paying rent i wasnt able to regain my booking from **th June which i had full right given i paid money from **th June - **th Aug
It was a great mistake to book this tenant where she is praying upon customer like us . Is there a way to verify these claims that she is out of town till **th August and the room which has been cancelled by be has indeed not been rented out. I am really not happy with the way this has gone
