Respected Sir/Madam,
I humbly submit that my brother purchased a helmet for me in my absence. When I returned home and tried it, I found that it did not fit my head properly and I did not like it. The very next day, I went to the same shop from where it was purchased to request an exchange. The shopkeeper initially told me, “Come tomorrow, it’s my brother’s shop,” so I agreed.
However, when I went again today, he refused to take the helmet back despite my repeated genuine requests. The product has no physical damage, has not been used, and is in original condition. As per consumer protection principles, customers are allowed to exchange solid goods within a reasonable period (generally ** days), especially when the product is defective in fitting and has not been used.
Due to this issue, I had to travel repeatedly from my university, which affected my studies and caused unnecessary inconvenience. I am approaching the Hon’ble Authority with the expectation of fair redressal.
I request you to kindly consider my situation and take appropriate action.
