SMRR BUS - Gross negligence abandoning a solo female passenger seeking compensation for missed personal work me

I am filing this complaint to seek compensation from SMRR Bus for their gross negligence, which put my safety at risk and caused significant financial and personal losses, even though the booking platform (RedBus) has refunded my ticket fare.

Booking: I booked a ticket on the RedBus app for SMRR Bus on **.**.**** (Route: KSR Bengaluru to Hyderabad) for ₹****/-. The pickup was at Ananda Rao Circle at *:** PM.

The Incident: I arrived at the pickup point at *:** PM.

After *:** PM, I called the operator, who said the bus would arrive in ** minutes.

Following this, the operator and driver deliberately ignored all my calls. I also contacted RedBus customer support, who were helpful and they also tried to contact the operator repeatedly, but the operator and driver refused to answer their calls as well.

I was left waiting at the bus stop from *:** PM until **:** PM. As a solo female passenger, I was stranded in a state of extreme distress and panic.

At **:** PM, the operator finally answered a call from my father's phone and callously informed him, "We have left the city."

The driver, when contacted, dismissed all responsibility, stating, "I am just a driver."

Refund Status: I want to make it clear that RedBus customer support has processed the full refund of ₹****/-. I appreciate their assistance in this matter.

The Core Problem (SMRR Bus): The issue is not the ticket money. The core problem is the appalling and reckless behaviour of SMRR Bus.

Extreme Safety Risk: They knowingly abandoned a solo female passenger at midnight in Bengaluru, putting my personal safety at severe risk.

Missed Important Personal Work: Their negligence caused me to miss a very important and time-sensitive personal work scheduled in Hyderabad for the next day. My failure to be present has led to significant personal and financial complications.

Professional & Financial Loss: I lost a full day of my Holiday for this trip and was left stranded with no other buses available to Hyderabad that night.

Operator's Arrogance: When my brothers friend spoke to the owner, his attitude was shameless. He said to "go complain to RedBus" for the money, as if a refund compensates for the trauma and the significant additional losses.

A simple refund does not compensate for the terror of being stranded, the direct financial and personal loss from my missed work in Hyderabad, and my wasted leave. SMRR Bus must be held accountable.

Resolution Demanded:
Since the ticket fare has been refunded by RedBus, I now demand the following from SMRR Bus:

Compensation for the financial loss and personal damages incurred from my inability to attend my important personal work in Hyderabad.

Compensation for the one day of wasted professional leave from my work.

Significant compensation for the severe mental harassment, distress, and the dangerous situation SMRR Bus put me in by abandoning me at **:** PM.

A formal written apology from the owner of SMRR Bus for their gross negligence and unprofessional conduct.

I also request that Voxya forward this complaint to RedBus, urging them to delist SMRR Bus from their platform to ensure no other passenger has to go through this.
