I bought oneplus *T phone in Oct, **** but after an automatic software update, green lines started appearing on my phone display in Sept, ****. Since the problem occurred before my warranty expired, i tried to get it repaired from my hometown in Kerala, where i was informed that the stock for display replacement was unavailable and that it would be better to directly approach any Bangalore service centres if possible. I was also assured that warranty wouldn't be an issue since it's a software error from the end of oneplus & that many customers are facing the same issue. So last week i had the chance to approach several service centres in Bangalore, however each one of them declined a free service claiming that my warranty expired. I tried reasoning with them that i waited all this time to directly visit their outlet in the hope of getting my phone repaired in a safe & trustworthy manner, but all they tell me is that i would have to pay around **k for display replacement. My phone has no other issues like cracks or dents, it's in good condition, the only problem it has is the appearance of several green lines on the screen which is making it really difficult to look at the screen. I even started getting headaches & eye pain probably from staring at the screen trying hard to look at it, but i have no other option because i have all my work stuff in it. I have to use my phone for my work, to attend onshore calls, etc. So i can't submit my phone for a week or a month to get it repaired because of this reason. I am deeply disappointed and let down for suffering for something that happened for no fault of mine. Please i request oneplus to consider my plea for a satisfactory service so that i can continue to use my phone happily without any interferences. I humbly request to not ignore my difficult situation. Thanks.
