Flat on rent - Giving a damaged flat to stay

Hi Sir
* months back i was searching for a flat on rent for my family in masjid banda kondapur Hyderabad

After searching for * months i got one flat on rent
We liked that flat a lot
We immediately pay the advance rent and deposit to our flat owner
So that flat shouldn't go to some other person

It's almost * months now we are staying in this flat

When we took this flat on rent from first day onwards we told to our flat owner that colour the flat before we came there to stay and there was some damage on washroom like tap was not working in bathrooms

He told i will do it for sure

But one day he called me and told me that you do shifting and after your shifting we will colouring and door repairing and tap repairing

Many times i told the flat owner that washroom doors are also damaged please replace those doors for both the bathrooms

So far after telling him so many times everytime he says that i will do it later on

But he never do it so far

And he is charging a rent of Rs **k every month

And he took **k as deposit intially and one month advance rent also.

We are paying his rent every month on *th as per the discussion

But he never repair those things

No colouring and no repairing

He simply ignoring it every time


I want to take a legal action against the flat owner

So please help me
