The Urban Clap - Fraud in Service and BI ill

*. The service is highly unsatisfactory. The Urban Company has arranged a service and charged a price without any justification (**/**/****). For a**-year old refrigerator, the technician gets (only) a compressor for which the Urban Company bills for Rs ****/- (after adding a list of spare parts which were never used in the repair). (**/**/****)
*. The technician got the compressor without even discussing the options with us. We did not have any idea that it would be a costly affair. One is not sure if it is worthwhile buying a compressor at such a cost for a **-year old refrigerator.
*. As per the Company policy, the technician should submit the bill for spare parts immediately after repair and before payment for the service. The technician refused to submit the bill on the spot. (Is this acceptable by the norm of the Urban Company?).
*. After repeated complaints to the Company for two days, the Company whatsapped a photo handwritten warranty (not any bill) on the invoice of Kanchan Refrigerator Company located in Malad West Mumbai (**/**/****).
*. When I pointed out its inadequacy as proof of expense, the COmapnay ** days (after daily persuasion) to submit a fake bill-cum- warranty-card for Rs **** for the compressor on the invoice of Tech Engineering Company (located in Malad East specializing, I believe, in recycled spare parts)(**/**/****). The Tech Engineering Company is owned and operated by the technician of the Urban Company.
(Am I to believe that the Urban Company is in a joint collaboration with the technician to use recycled spare parts and cheat its clients? The technician of the Urban Company has already decamped, despite our strong objection, with the old supposedly malfunctioning compressor of the refrigerator (for another operation recycle?))
*. The bill and the warranty cards are from two different shops. I tried to verify their existence. I got the response that the telephone number of the first shop does not exist. As regards the second shop, I got a response which informed me that the shop is not open at all but specialises in electronic spare parts.
*. Urban Company too is at fault. It has extracted a price from me without any evidence for the expenses. It has billed us for items not used in the repair work. Its technician has repaired the refrigerator in our presence only. He has replaced only the compressor and repaired some wire connections. He has not got any other spare part. Accordingly he has submitted his fake bill and warranty card only for the compressor. The Urban Company has gone a step further and billed us for several other components which have not been used in the repair.
Please note: No hardware company issues handwritten warranty invoices. Till date (even after a month) the Urban Company Team has not been able to offer any valid evidence of the expense incurred for repair of my refrigerator. I believe the Urban Company Team is now ready to provide me with some more fudged bills as per my specification. They have been repeatedly humiliating and jibing at me , a senior Citizen. I have put up with this torture and harassment for more than two months.
This is total cheat. I need to be refunded the entire amount in addition to compensation for the harassment
