Fitness Science Elite - Fraud Cheating Absconded

The annual gym membership was paid for their Perambur, Chennai location franchise on *th August **** as a part payment after repeated pressure from their sales executive woman. Then made the remaining payment on *th September **** and had a first day exploration of all the amenities (many were not working). Then on the second day I used the gym for ** mins. I met with an accident and spinal injury that made me unable to walk or run or lift anything for several days & months. Hence I requested their executive to either change the membership start date to a much later date in November **** and they refused to do it and refused a refund as well. Later after repeated requests they agreed to pay the refund in Jan **** (conveyed by Dec ****) and had me waiting for some more days. They had their gym closed stating Covid reasons and some renovation happening. When tried calling them on **th Jan **** they mentioned that the gym is under a loss and asked me to wait till March **th ****. The gym was closed for several months from around Nov-Dec '** and their executive called up to inform that we can use their other nearby Franchises (MKB Nagar & Periyar Nagar) for time being which were then shut down in a weeks time due to Covid & never opened. Later by March ****, I noticed in google that the place is marked as permanently closed and their phone numbers are deactivated. Later called up a lady executive (Prathima - **********) of their (MKB Nagar branch) and found out that their owner had not paid her wages or called her back for work for several months and shared the contact numbers to reach out (Ramesh - ********** / Suren - **********). But when contacted those numbers, there is no response and they scream that they have no business with Perambur branch. Later understood that even their other franchise (periyar Nagar) was shut down. I have lost a full annual membership money along with my brother and a nearby friend who paid for membership in the same gym. Not sure how many like me have lost their money and had no clue of how & where to complain.
