I, Shri Bikram Sarma, booked a flat in The Rainforest project developed by Mounthill Realty Private Limited located at Rajarhat, Kolkata in June, ****. As per the agreement with the builder, the possession was supposed to be given by December **** with a grace period of * months thereafter. As per agreement, **% interest penalty is payable by the builder on the paid amount for the the delayed period. However, due to financial trouble the builder stopped the work of the project in ****. Since then I have been repeatedly following up for refund of the amount paid by me. After lot of follow up, the builder agreed to refund the amount within Mar'** with an interest of *.**% from the paid date. However, out of total due of **.* lacs, they only refunded INR * lac till now and balance **.* lacs still pending. They stopped responding to reminders via calls or mails from my side.
