Crio do - Formal Consumer Complaint against Crio Do for Unethical Practices Mental Harassment and Denial of Re

I enrolled in Crio.Do’s Fellowship Program in Software Development – Advanced (Fellowship Backend Advanced) on **th December ****. However, due to serious medical issues and subsequent job resignation, I found myself in a financially and mentally unstable condition and requested course cancellation.

In March ****, after submitting valid medical documentation, instead of offering cancellation or refund, the only option provided was to switch to a different program—the Fellowship in NextGen Data Analytics with AI. This switch was made despite my objections and inability to continue with any course due to ongoing health and financial hardships.

Unfortunately, my medical condition has not improved, and I am still unable to benefit from or participate in any course. Despite sharing updated medical reports in July **** and clearly communicating my inability to continue, the Crio.Do team continues to insist on course participation, invoking a rigid "no-refund and no-cancellation" clause, and denying any empathetic resolution.

Moreover, I was promised a ₹**,*** cashback on course completion, which was later revised without notice. Now I am told the cashback is only applicable upon completing six sprints—an unrealistic expectation given my critical situation.

This behavior constitutes:

Unfair trade practices

Mental harassment through repeated pressure calls and refusal to cancel

Misrepresentation of refund and reward policies

Lack of compassion or flexibility in genuine medical emergencies

There is also a concern that false or misleading information may have been shared with Varthana Finance regarding my course status, leading to continued loan EMIs, which adds further financial burden.

Relief Sought:
I am seeking the following redressals:

Immediate cancellation of my enrollment and all associated services.

Full refund of the amount paid or complete waiver of any pending fees/loan recovery, based on compassionate medical grounds.

A formal apology and written clarification for the mental pressure, coercion, and lack of transparent communication.
