SMS hospital Jaipur - Formal Complaint Against Rude Behavior and Negligence at SMS Hospital ENT Department

am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the highly unprofessional and disrespectful behavior I experienced at your hospital's ENT emergency department on [**-**-**] around [*:**pm

I had come to the hospital in a distressed condition after accidentally inhaling a small metal piece through my nostril, which I could feel in my throat. The ENT emergency staff conducted multiple unnecessary tests, including an X-ray, charged me ₹*** for these, and wasted over *-* hours without providing a clear solution or proper treatment.

When I politely raised concerns about the hospital management’s inefficiency and the poor behavior of staff, one of the doctors on duty rudely told me "if doctors are not good, then get out" — a completely unacceptable and humiliating statement towards a patient seeking urgent medical help.

As a citizen, I expect to be treated with basic respect, proper care, and clear communication — not insulted or neglected in a government hospital.

I demand strict action against the responsible staff and an official apology. I also request that patient treatment protocols, especially in the emergency department, be improved so that no other patient has to go through such an experience.
