Kuwait Airways and Easemytrip - Flight Reschedule and Cancellation Refund

Hi Ma’am/Sir,
I have booked my flight ticket from Bangalore to London on **th Jan **** for the travel dates (Bangalore to London **th Apr **** and Edinburgh to Bangalore on **-Apr-****). The tickets are booked through HDFC Smart buy and the agent is Easemytrip.

The onward journey was in Kuwait airways where in the first leg (Bangalore to Kuwait on **th Apr **** Departure **:** AM and Arrival **:** AM) and the second leg (Kuwait to London on **th Apr **** Depart: **:** AM and Arrival **:** PM).

I have booked these flights in advance as I am aware that the flight tickets closer to the travel date will be expensive and will be out of my budget. I also planned and booked all the other travel, stays etc in advance as per my flight ticket.
After ** days, I have received a flight reschedule email from Kuwait airways which as the first leg (Bangalore to Kuwait is rescheduled to **nd Apr **** Departure **:** AM and Arrival **:** AM). Which means the first leg of the single PNR is shifted to * days after the second leg of the trip (Kuwait to London on **th Apr **** Depart: **:** AM and Arrival **:** PM).

I was surprised to see such reschedule as no one can travel as per the rescheduled ticket where in the same PNR first leg of the travel is after* days of the second leg of the travel. I immediately raised a concern to easemytrip as well as Kuwait airways.

Easemytrip gave me other options which is * days before or after my planned date of **th Apr and it is not acceptable for me as I have already booked the entire trip (Other travels, hotels etc.)

Kuwait airways customer support team informed me that their flight on **th Apr **** was cancelled and they shifted all the passengers from **th Apr **** which caused overbooking in **th Apr **** flight and my ticket which was booked early and it’s in lower price the shifted to **nd Apr ****. They insisted me either travel on **nd Apr or other options other than **th Apr or cancel my ticket. If I proceed with cancellation there will not be any deduction as this is caused due to the reschedule from airline side.

I have raised a cancellation request with easemytrip for my onward journey in Kuwait airways and also informed that there should not be any cancellation charge and full refund should be processed and also demanded a compensation from Kuwait airways as I had to book my onward journey in another airline which is almost ** days later and it caused me *****. Easemy trip processed my refund but they deducted (Airline penalty :-**** convenience fee:-***) and refunded ***** (which is in process now). My friend who is travelling with me also have the same problem and they refunded him *****. Kuwait airways confirmed me that the onward ticket charge is *****.
I want to raise a complaint against both easemytrip as well as Kuwait airways on following grounds,
*. Kuwait airways rescheduled the ticket ** days after booking the ticket and also, they rescheduled in such a way non one can utilize and travel in the ticket. (first leg of the ticket is * days after the second leg in the Same PNR).
*. Kuwait airways didn’t process the full refund even though the cancellation is due to the illogical reschedule from Kuwait airways. Also did not provide any other alternative option for **th Apr ****.
*. Kuwait airways did not provide any justification for such a reschedule which is irresponsible and illogical.
*. The reschedule and cancellation caused me huge financial burden as I had to book a new ticket for my onward journey with another airline and costed me Rs. *****.
*. Easemy trip deducted convenience fee which they should not as the ticket became not usable after such a reschedule.
*. Easemytip provided me different information at different times such as initially then mentioned the deduction is (Airline charges: - **** Convenience fee:-***) and later they mentioned the deduction as (Airline penalty :-**** Convenience Fee:-***). I am still not sure what is the actual ticket price and what are the actual deductions.
*. Easemytrip did not provide me the documents I requested,
• Original invoice with ticket price for the onward journey (with information such as airline charge, tax amount and convenience fee etc.).
• A credit note on my name with details (Original booking amount, Deduction breakups and final refund amount).
• Justification why there are deductions as the entire cancellation is initiated due to the reschedule from airline.
I want to demand a proper financial compensation from both the parties for the for additional cost incurred to me during this process Rs: ***** and the deductions they made for the refund and the mental trauma and panic that I went through last couple of days as there is already a huge amount that I paid for my all bookings for my entire trip.
