Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to lodge a complaint against Flipkart for not refunding the amount debited from my bank account for a failed transaction. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue with Flipkart customer service, I have not received the refund.
Details of the Transaction:
• Order Date: May **, ****
• Order Amount: Rs. ****
• Product: Aqua Water Purifier
• Transaction ID: UPI/DR/************/FLIPKART/ICIC/FLIPKART P/U::*****
Sequence of Events:
*. On May **, ****, I placed an online order for an Aqua water purifier on Flipkart and made a payment of Rs. ****. However, the transaction failed, and the amount was debited from my bank account.
*. I contacted Flipkart customer service immediately, and they assured me that the issue would be resolved and the amount would be credited back to my bank account within two days. However, no refund was received.
*. Upon contacting customer service again, I was instructed to upload my bank account statement through the Flipkart app for verification. After doing so, I was assured that the payment would be credited within one week. Yet, after one week, I still had not received the refund.
*. When I contacted Flipkart customer service once more, I was provided with a reference number via email, indicating that the payment had been made to my bank account. However, upon comparing my bank account number with the one provided by Flipkart, I found a mismatch.
*. I visited my bank to inquire about the transaction and was advised to contact Flipkart. After informing Flipkart about the account number mismatch, they informed me that my case was closed.
Given the above, I kindly request the Reserve Bank of India to intervene and take appropriate action to ensure that the amount of Rs. **** is refunded to my bank account. Below are my details for your reference:
