Subway Systems India Pvt Ltd. - Fee charged on carry bag with company logo by SUBWAY

Respected Sir/Madam,
Yesterday (*th Aug ****) I bought * sandwiches from SUBWAY situated inside Ruby petrol pump. They packed all three sandwiches in a paper made carry bag with their logo printed on top of that and billed me ** INR for the same. My total bill was Rs. *,***/-, out of that three sandwiches costs is Rs. ***/- (***+***+***) and rest amount (Rs. **/-) is for carry bag.

This is their regular practice, which is significantly bizarre, simple paper bag cost Rs. **/-. Though as a law-abiding customer I use to pay it. But during last couple of months I got to know from different news and social medias that some of the companies like Bata (https://www.businesstoday.in/current/economy-politics/bata-india-carry-bag-fine-rs-****-bata-fined-rs-****-for-forcing-customer-to-pay-rs-*-for-paper-bag/story/******.html) are penalize for the same deeds.

I would like to know, is it not applicable for SUBWAY? If applicable then I would like to request you to take proper measure to stop this illegal activity.
