I am filing this formal grievance on behalf of my minor ward, who holds a registered account with FamApp. We are reporting a critical service failure and unlawful withholding of funds regarding their DigiGold investment platform.
My ward invested ₹**** in DigiGold through the FamApp wallet. According to FamApp’s own policy, users are mandated to wait ** hours before they can sell their digital gold. This **-hour holding period has long passed. However, when attempting to sell the DigiGold and withdraw the funds, the app simply displays an error and fails to process the transaction. It continuously blocks the sale without providing a valid reason.
We have attempted to resolve this through the in-app chat, which only provides broken, automated bot responses. We have also emailed support@famapp.in without receiving a manual resolution.
Because FamApp caters specifically to teenagers, withholding their savings due to unaddressed technical glitches is highly unethical. We demand immediate intervention from a human support agent to either manually unblock the sell feature for this account or process a direct refund of ₹**** back to the wallet.
