Grand Vivanta Vacations Private Limited - False and fake promises by the travel company

On **/**/**** myself and my husband were invited on phone by the representatives of the company at Wadhva Sports Club, Kalyan for high tea and for collecting gift voucher. When we went there the representatives of the company Mr. Sudhirkumar and Mr. Abhijeet made us false promises and lucrative offers and thereby insisted us to purchase holiday package. Believing their words, we have agreed to purchase holiday package worth Rs. *,**,***/- for the period of ** years. We have made part payment of Rs.**,***/- (Rs.**,***/- by credit card and Rs.**,***/- by UPI). Upon making this part payment we were told that we were immediately eligible for the special offer of "to and fro" air fare for the destination of first trip for us and our two children, without insisting for the balance payment. However, when we asked the company to book the first trip with special offer, the company people were either avoiding to respond or when responded, they were making demand of exorbitant charges towards additional room booking and air fare which was totally against the promises made to us. Therefore, I have sent legal notice through Advocate dated *th Feb, **** to the company and its Directors requesting them to refund the amount of Rs.**,***/- plus interest on credit card Rs.**,***/- and notice charges of Rs. **,***, totalling to Rs. *,**,***/- . Though the said notice was duly received by the company and the Directors, they have neither replied the notice nor made the payment as requested by me. Hence this complaint is filed. I therefore request that the company maybe directed to refund my hard earned money of Rs.*,**,***/- at the earliest.
