GateIIT Gate Indian Institute of Tutorials Bangalore - Faculty Not Available Breach of Contract Not Refunding Money

Eleven follow-ups have been made since the mail below dated *rd January ****. After the third follow-up GATEIIT responded asking for my bank details, which I sent. Since then eight more followups have been done. Yet, no refund. -----> "Dear XXXXXXX, I am Sanjiv Gupta, father of XXXXXXX. We spoke a few days back. I was also the one who had detailed conversations with your predecessor on the entire plan back in May ****. Initially we opted for 'medicine' individual tuitions only, which started on **th May ****, and it is still continuing successfully without any problems. We had paid Rs. **,***/- for this full medicine course.

Subsequently, we opted for the 'surgery + orthopedics' individual tuitions, which started on **th November ****. We paid Rs. **,***/- for this course too. The teacher quit your institution and the classes stopped after *th December. Only * out of the ** chapters were covered until then, i.e. **% of the course. For more than * weeks there were no classes. Subsequently, you assigned a teacher who made it clear upfront that he would not be able to cover orthopedics, but more surprisingly he combined the surgery tuitions with another student, which is clearly a breach of our agreement for individual tuitions. The final semester exams for my daughter will be held in this quarter itself. Clearly, the 'surgery + orthopedics" experience has been a disaster.

Through this mail I am requesting you to refund **% of the fees you charged upfront, i.e. **% of Rs. **,***/-, which is Rs. **,***/-. Please acknowledge and I will send my bank account details where you can refund the amount by bank transfer.
