Chayoos - Extra amount charged

I ordered a cup of Chai in Chayoos, located in Good Earth Mall, Sector **, Gurgaon. The total bill amount as told the person responsible for billing was INR **. I presented by card, they swaped it and i put my card pin. However, when I check my account stated a day later, they have charged me INR *** for the same
This is a deliberate attempt of fraud. They might have thought the customer might not check the account details and they will earn money. Is this how the company is earning money/profit?
