On **/**/**** I had renewed and upgraded my annual subscription plan from ** Mbps unlimited to annual ** Mbps unlimited plan, by paying Rs **** through company's android app. Same got activated and came into force with immediate effect. After almost four months, on **/**/**** my account was suspended by Joister without notice. When contacted Customer Care executive informed that I have an outstanding amount of Rs ***** against my account and services will be restored once I pay the dues. They said the plan amount for ** Mbps unlimited annual subscription is Rs ***** and I had paid only partial amount of Rs ****. I told that I had paid the full amount as shown against the said plan as shown in the app and from where this dues has come? They informed that when my order was being processed their system was under the process of maintenance and upgradation and an error occurred which resulted in showing and collecting less amount and activating a higher plan. But they have not informed about this error through SMS/email/through phone all these four months , kept mum and without information suspended my account, which still under suspension till date. The error has occurred from their side but they are punishing the customer. If they had advised me in time I might have asked them for some alternative. But they didn't do this all these four months . When I demanded a copy of Tax Invoice they have sent one on **/**/**** in which the GST & CGST is paid for Rs ***** whereas I had paid only Rs ****. This also proves the error. And also during all these last four months after activation of my new plan I rarely got ** Mbps speed, sometimes the speed reached * to * Mbps. Same complained to Joister and I was told that this is due to work from home there was heavy load on bandwidth and asked me to cooperate. There were numerous SMS from the company to cooperate and I too complained many times through their app.
I demand from the company Rs ***** as compensation and restore my account immediately for the deficient services and mental trauma which disturbed my daily online work and my children online classes.
Kindly note I have already registered my grievance online on consumer helpline( Government Portal) twice both are open. To one of my grievance company has falsely stated to the portal that issue is resolved.
