Kannan K - Eviction from Rental Home

My family was asked to leave the rental home before the expiry of rental agreement. The house owner and family has been continuously torturing us mentally and financially asking for extra rates on electricity bills. During the agreement time it was mentioned that the EB bill should be payed directly in EB office. But later once the billing cycle came, we got to know that there is no separate bill and the house owner charges the unit upon his will and at a higher rate of *.* Rs/unit.
Also every * months we are being charged with tank cleaning cost which is also not mentioned in agreement. These are in addition to monthly maintenance fee. The house owner continuously tortures through phone call when he is not in town and also in person when he arrives back. When we objected paying such high rates, we were asked to leave the home. All this happened in the peak time of *nd wave of covid. We had to search another home in middle of this pandemic situation. This has caused us financial loss and also mental agony. Such inhumane behavior should be brought under the eye of law and given appropriate penalty. Also we need compensation for this whole incident.
